Hi, I'm Shannon!

With over a decade of experience, I support adult individuals and couples in navigating life’s complexities with compassion and care. My approach is grounded in a variety of evidence-based therapies, and as an Ontario Certified Teacher and Registered Social Worker, I bring a unique perspective that integrates both therapeutic and educational insight.

Inspired by the Aurora Borealis, my practice reflects the themes of connection, growth, and change. Just as the Borealis lights up the sky in a dance of color and energy, therapy illuminates the path toward inner healing and transformation. This metaphor underscores how our work together weaves your unique strengths, experiences, and aspirations into a journey of self-discovery and growth.

My Core Values

connection

I provide a compassionate, nonjudgemental space where you can feel seen and heard.

Growth

I’m here to support your inner strengths and foster meaningful, lasting change.

collaboration

We’ll work as a team to explore challenges and create a personalized path forward.

Transparency

Clear, honest communication is at the heart of my practice to ensure your trust and confidence.

What it's like to work with me...

Therapy with me is not about “fixing” but about exploring, understanding, and creating space for transformation. Whether we are working on deep-rooted patterns, past trauma, or present-day stressors, I tailor each session to  your unique needs.

My passion for social justice shows up in the therapy room with us. I engage in anti-oppressive practice and believe that deconstructing issues related to race, class, gender, ability, and sexual orientation can be a powerful component of the therapeutic process.

I know that taking the first step can feel daunting. My hope is that our work together evokes access to the clarity, confidence, and creativity you have to move toward the life you envision.
